Cookies for the Luke House
Each year the youth at the Oregon Youth Center take part in baking six batches of cut out cookies over two days. On the third day youth transport the cut outs to the Oregon Area Senior Center where youth and seniors frost them together. Youth are asked to learn three things about two seniors while they are there. When the frosting is dry the OYC staff drive the cookies to the Luke House (a soup kitchen in Madison) where they are enjoyed with the Thanksgiving meal.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Each year the OYC hosts the free community Easter Egg Hunt. Youth spend the week before the hunt counting and filling eggs. On the day of the hunt youth decorate the gym, run carnival games, paint faces and help direct traffic to the right place. The OYC enjoys hosting this event each year and the youth love helping out.

National Night Out
Youth run a face painting table as well as carnival games, a bounce house and help out with sno cones. This event is entirely free to everyone who attends.

Prairie View Elementary PTO Family Fun Night
Staff runs a first aid table free of charge and youth help out by running carnival games, face painting, handing out lemonade and anything else the PTO needs assistance with.
